• Adult Choking

Including:

• Child CPR AED
• Infant CPR
• Child and Infant Choking

This course is NOT for healthcare providers, or students in healthcare related programs. Healthcare providers and healthcare students should take BLS for Healthcare Providers.

The instructor-led course is approximately up to 3-4 hours, with skills testing by a HSI instructor during the course. Based upon the most updated 2020 International Consensus on Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and Emergency Cardiovascular Care (ECC). Conforms to the 2020 AHA Guidelines Update for CPR and ECC, and the 2020 AHA and ARC Guidelines Update for First Aid.

The HSI First Aid CPR AED course is intended for all individuals who have a duty to respond to a first aid or cardiac emergency because of job responsibilities or regulatory requirements, including:

• security and airline personnel
• camp counselors
• police and firefighters
• teachers and day-care workers
• aerobics teachers/physical-fitness trainers
• Foster parents, nannies
• Caregivers
• other individuals who want or need first-aid training
