Energy Healing sessions are not licensed by the state(s) but are complementary to healing arts services licensed by the state(s). Energy Healing is not intended to replace orthodox medicine, but rather to complement it.
Energy Healers do not physically touch recipients or clients.
Energy Healers do not make medical diagnosis.
Energy Healers do not prescribe medications or medical treatments.

The purpose of a program of hypnotherapy is for vocational and avocational self-improvement and as an alternative or complementary treatment to healing arts services licensed by the state. A hypnotherapist is not a licensed physician or psychologist, and hypnotherapy services are not licensed by the State of Maine. Services are non-diagnostic and do not include the practice of medicine, nor should they be considered a substitute for licensed medical or psychological services or procedures.
